Fabruary 5, 2024, agricultural corporation Nenia Co., Ltd. and Yangpyeong County signed an "MOU on the Utilization of Yangpyeong Wheat for the Development of the Wheat Industry" at the Yangpyeong Agricultural Technology Centre.

The signing ceremony was attended by about 10 people, including Nenia CEO Mun Young-Jin, Yangpyeong Mayor Jeon Jin-Seon, honorary mayors Heo Cheol-Ho and Song Man-Young of Charming Yangpyeong, Nenia executives and employees, and Lee Jung-Beom, director of the Agricultural Technology Centre.

Through this agreement, Nenia will contribute to the development of the wheat industry in Yangpyeong by purchasing a significant amount of eco-friendly wheat produced in the region. The wheat will be used in product manufacturing, storage, sales, and distribution.

Nenia annually sources 300~400 tons of eco-friendly Korean wheat for use in products such as baked goods, bread, noodles, and other products.

Meanwhile, Yangpyeong County continues to promote the wheat industry and improve self-sufficiency by distributing wheat seeds and supporting wheat-growing farms.
