Nenia Participates in the 2024 Charming Yangpyeong Business Exhibition

Agricultural corporation Nenia Co., Ltd. will participate in the 2024 Charming Yangpyeong Business Exhibition. The event will be held on November 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the “Yangpyeong Mulmalgeun Market Rest Area Plaza.”

At Yangpyeong Mulmalgeun Market, many people gather along People’s Sound Road, Laughter Sound Road, and Water Sound Road. Nenia hopes that through this event, held in connection with Yangpyeong’s traditional market, both local business owners such as bakeries and coffee shops, and Yangpyeong residents, will have more opportunities to encounter Nenia’s products.

Nenia’s headquarters is located in Gangsang-myeon, Yangpyeong County, and the headquarters building houses Nenia Bread, the company’s directly operated bread-making facility, as well as a shop selling Nenia’s products.

Nenia crafts its breads and other products using eco-friendly, pesticide-free, and organic wheat sourced directly from local farms. Renowned for its commitment to safe, natural foods, the company avoids all synthetic additives—such as thickeners, artificial flavors, colorings, preservatives, sweeteners, acidity regulators, and color fixatives—and never uses GMO ingredients.

At the 2024 Charming Yangpyeong Business Exhibition, Nenia’s booth will feature a wide range of products, including steamed buns made from pesticide-free Korean wheat, assorted breads, Korean beef bone concentrate, domestic wheat pancake mix and other flours, processed meat products, beverages such as sikhye (traditional sweet rice drink) and fresh-pressed juices, as well as pressed canola oil.

Visitors will also be able to sample the “Nenia Butter-Filled Heart Pie,” created in collaboration with local Yangpyeong artists. Select items—including the heart pie and pesticide-free white and whole wheat flour—will be available for purchase on-site.

Yangpyeong is the first region in Korea to be officially designated as an eco-friendly agricultural area. In February of this year, Nenia signed a business agreement with Yangpyeong County and the Yangpyeong Agricultural Technology Center to promote the local wheat industry. Under this agreement, when the county’s eco-friendly wheat production expands, Nenia plans to purchase a significant portion of the crop for use in its manufacturing.

Through its support of sustainable farming and its promotion of eco-friendly product consumption, Nenia is committed to contributing to the growth of the local economy.

Hosted by the Yangpyeong County Entrepreneurs’ Association, the exhibition aims to promote local businesses and products, helping small and medium-sized manufacturers and social enterprises expand their sales channels. This year’s event will feature 20 companies from across the county.
